Dr Serdar Saraç Resume

Dr. Ahmet Tevfik Serdar Saraç graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 1986, completing his medical education, and began his professional life in various healthcare institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health. In the early years of his medical career, he held various positions, actively following patients in the field and also serving in a managerial role for three years. This period not only provided him with clinical experience but also built a strong foundation in the organization of healthcare services, team management, and coordination of patient processes. Dr. Saraç completed his specialization training in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Istanbul Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital in 1997, focusing on musculoskeletal diseases, chronic pain, and movement disorders. He has shaped his treatment practice by combining the academic discipline and clinical experience he gained during his specialization with a patient-centered approach.

Between 1997 and 2011, Dr. Saraç worked at Istanbul Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital. During this period, Dr. Saraç provided outpatient services and actively pursued scientific research. This extensive experience, spanning many years, contributed to her deep clinical expertise, particularly in the areas of lumbar and cervical disc herniations, muscle rheumatism, and functional impairments. She also supported the training of young physicians and actively participated in national and international scientific meetings.

Always prioritizing professional development, Dr. Saraç has attended numerous congresses, symposiums, courses, and scientific meetings both domestically and internationally, closely following current treatment methods. Her numerous scientific articles published at national and international levels have provided a scientifically based and up-to-date perspective to her clinical practice. Since 1996, she has focused particularly on lumbar and cervical disc herniations, gaining extensive patient experience; successfully applying non-surgical treatment methods for spinal health, nerve root compression, and chronic lumbar and cervical pain. Since 2000, she has conducted specialized studies on muscle rheumatism and dry needling therapy; and continues to effectively treat myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, and chronic muscle-related pain. In her treatments, she adopts a holistic approach that targets not only the symptoms but also the source of the pain.

Dr. Saraç, who founded the Erenköy Herniated Disc and Physical Therapy Center in 1997, begins accepting patients with current medical methods and modern physical therapy applications. She diagnoses and treats many musculoskeletal disorders such as lumbar and cervical disc herniations, muscle rheumatism, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, mobility limitations, and postural disorders. Her main goal is to improve the quality of life of her patients, contribute to their pain-free and functional lives, and achieve lasting recovery through personalized treatment plans. With her many years of experience, academic background, and patient-focused approach, she actively continues her work.
