About Dr. Serdar Saraç
Dr. Ahmet Tevfik Serdar Saraç graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 1986, completing his medical education, and began his professional career in various healthcare institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health. In the early years of his medical career, he held various positions, actively following patients in the field and also serving in a managerial role for three years. This period not only allowed him to gain clinical experience but also provided him with a strong foundation in the organization of healthcare services, team management, and coordination of patient processes.
Dr. Saraç completed his specialization training in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Istanbul Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital in 1997, focusing on musculoskeletal diseases, chronic pain, and movement disorders. He has shaped his treatment practice by combining the academic discipline and clinical experience he gained during his specialization with a patient-centered approach.
Between 1997 and 2011, she worked at Istanbul Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital; during this period, she actively continued both her outpatient services and scientific studies. This long hospital experience contributed to her gaining deep clinical experience, especially in the field of spinal pain, muscle rheumatism, and functional losses, particularly in lumbar and cervical disc herniations. She also contributed to the training processes of young physicians and actively participated in scientific meetings and academic activities.
Always prioritizing professional development, Dr. Saraç has participated in numerous congresses, symposiums, courses, and scientific meetings held both domestically and internationally; she closely follows current treatment methods. She has many scientific articles published at national and international levels. This academic background has given her clinical practice a scientifically based and up-to-date perspective.
Since 1996, she has focused particularly on the field of lumbar and cervical disc herniations, gaining extensive patient experience in this area.
