This Disclosure Statement has been prepared in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) in order to inform you about the personal data processing activities carried out through the security camera system by Dr. Serdar Saraç, operating at Fahrettin Kerim Gökay Cad. 26/3 Hocaalioğlu Apt. (Minibüs Cad. Sahra-i Cedit Bus Stop) Göztepe – Kadıköy / Istanbul.

Within the clinic premises and building entrance areas, a closed-circuit camera recording system is used for the purposes of ensuring physical space security, safeguarding patient and employee safety, preventing and detecting potential unlawful acts, and submitting evidence to authorized authorities when necessary.

The personal data processed within the scope of camera recordings consists of image recordings and, in a limited manner, location information. Camera systems are used solely for security purposes, and no recording is carried out in areas that would violate the privacy of private life. There are no camera recordings in examination rooms or areas requiring personal privacy.

Your personal data is processed based on the legal ground of the legitimate interest of the data controller pursuant to Article 5 of the KVKK. The processed data is used only for the purposes stated above and is not shared with third parties. However, it may be transferred to authorized public institutions and organizations upon request for the fulfillment of legal obligations.

Camera recordings are retained for the duration required by the purpose of processing and in consideration of retention periods stipulated under applicable legislation. Upon expiration of the retention period, the recordings are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

Access to camera recordings is restricted only to authorized persons, and necessary technical and administrative security measures are implemented.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to request correction, to request deletion, and to claim compensation in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
